ABSTRACT

This chapter presents some games on geometry properties of shape such as; shape lotto, shape snap, triangle lotto, blindfold trust and making angles. Shape Lotto game, which uses a set of 20 or so pairs of cards with shapes. Use shapes such as: circle, ellipse, equilateral, isosceles and scalene triangles, square, both thin and wide oblongs, parallelogram, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, trapezium and rhombus. Place them face down on the carpet in rows. Triangle Lotto game, which uses a set of cards face down on centrally placed tables. The card set should include 15 of each of the following types of triangle: scalene, equilateral, isosceles, and one isosceles right-angled. Vary the size, proportions, and orientation. Blindfold Trust, which requires large open space which allows free, unencumbered movement and several blindfolds. Making Angles game, which requires two or three lengths of string, each 5-8 metres long with the ends tied to form a loop.
