ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION International tourism sector growth since 1950 has been striking, and demonstrates the dynamic character of the sector as one of the areas of growth in world trade in services. It is natural, therefore, for tourism to be included in the Fourth Lome Convention, in spite of the relatively small share of international arrivals and receipts held by the African Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) group of countries.
