ABSTRACT

This chapter describes how to identify ones own ideas means to be brave and then links to the own leadership practice. It consists of three sections. The first section is the brave leadership coaching framework which allows leaders to think about bravery and begin to make the own connections and distinctions, second is to highlight the values as a part of reflection on bravery and third is about coaching profession. The brave story helps leaders to think about what first drew them to their work and helps them to live by standards of behavior or principles again. The chapter introduces a values elicitation exercise which aims to allow leaders to articulate their brave role models, emphasizes their values with respect to their work and to future situations. A triaxial model suggest that economic-pragmatic values relate to efficiency, and guide activities such as planning, quality assurance and accounting are necessary to maintain and bring together organizational sub-systems.
