ABSTRACT
Introduction The purpose of this chapter is to briey examine contemporary tourism trends in Bhutan and Nepal. The chapter begins with a brief overview of tourism history, followed by tourism plans and policies, and concludes with brief remarks on development trajectories, strategies and links to sustainable development goals.
