ABSTRACT
The winds that move above our heads contain a lot of power. To be able to use this source of energy, this power has to be ‘caught’ and transformed to a form that can be used. This can be done by means of a turbine, which the wind causes to rotate, so that the turbine will turn an axis that can be connected to a millstone, a water pump or an electrical generator.
