ABSTRACT

An online syllabus contains many of the same elements as an on-site syllabus. A detailed syllabus is the core organizing document for the teacher and the students. Just as students have different learning styles, teachers have different organizational, planning, and teaching styles. A communication strategy is a description of how and when students can contact the readers via email, phone and chat. Students are expected to follow the course outline and engage and participate in the activities outlined in each weekly lesson. Students should be required to contribute actively for a minimum of two to three times per week. Explain to learners how they can get help if they are having trouble accessing the online course or using the online course tools. The syllabus components outline below is a comprehensive checklist for the essential points that need to be covered in a syllabus and a course outline.
