ABSTRACT
Sadly, during the final editing phases of this book, the dreadful Paris attack on Charlie Hebdo was carried out on January 8, 2015; two gunmen, the Kouachi brothers, attacked the satirical magazine that had published controversial cartoons, including depictions of the Prophet Muhammad. They killed twelve people before they themselves were killed in a standoff following a lengthy chase. As that tragedy unfolded, so did another attack on a Paris kosher grocery store, Hyper Cacher. At least one gunman, Amedy Coulibaly, held hostages and killed four of them.
