ABSTRACT
This short chapter, like the last, touches on philosophical issues of neuroscience. It concerns the relation between neuroscience and traditional philosophical problems of mind. Specifi cally, it delves into the diffi cult problem of free will. Do people have free will? But fi rst, some basics. What do we mean by “free will”? And why would anyone think that we don’t have this “free will”?
