ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we explore the thorny problem of what happens when an individual’s personal code of ethics differs from her or his professional code and/or the standards of the profession. This chapter raises personnel issues that go well beyond the people involved in the dilemmas. In these dilemmas, educational leaders are forced into positions in which they may have to draw the line between an individual’s personal and professional life.
