The children’s and teenagers’ product markets are huge. The worldwide retail sales of children’s toys were estimated to be worth US$80.2 billion in 2009.1 In most of the leading toy markets around the world, such as Australia, Sweden, the United Kingdom and France and, to a lesser extent, Germany and Japan, toy sales increased steadily between 2006 and 2011. While sales stagnated during this time in the US, it has remained the world’s largest market by far for toy sales.2
