ABSTRACT
Originating as R3D Data Manager and its companion Al3xa Data Manager, Double Data approaches data management with a definite philosophy. In addition to standard copying with verification, it is capable of what the company calls Automatic Multiple Sessions Management. A cataloging system is primarily designed for organizing a searchable index and is less concerned with how and where the material itself is stored. Film camera assistants have quite a few forms that need to be filled out and kept up to date: camera reports, film stock inventories, camera logs and so on. In the digital world, people are lucky that a great deal of this work is done by the camera and the various software applications which uses immediately after the camera. Display Port is a digital interface between sources and displays that is being positioned as a lower-cost alternate to High Definition Multi-Media Interface (HDMI) for personal computer (PC) equipment manufacturers.
