ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The author gives the overview of what others have described the ethnographic journey and he details his journey as a qualitative researcher using both wide angle and zoom lenses to understand Violet's work. This process of research and documentation is for two reasons: to provide the reader with a clearer understanding author's relationship to Violet; and to provide the interested reader with more information about the theoretical and methodological ground upon which this book rests. In her Gestalt orientation to practice, this means that Violet patiently waits for themes to emerge in her work with children and adults. In Gestalt terminology, the author's qualitative research methods helped to have good boundaries, to make good contact, and to make meaning of author's project in a clearly relational way.
