ABSTRACT

The definition of Kansei is “the workings which occur in the mind by receiving an external stimulus or an internal stimulus, as a result of the multiple responses of sense, perception, memory, emotion and thinking, or the ability which creates and expresses sensitivity, technically and artistically” (Murakami). Kansei information is “the information based on the person's Kansei, or the information which influences person's Kansei” (Murakami). The state of mind of a person is supported by the brain activity, and Kansei information appears in the scalp potentials, as seen on an electroencephalogram (EEG) (Musha).
