ABSTRACT
There is a growing necessity for people to cooperate with others in distributed virtual teams in various contexts. Classical e-mail still accounts for 90-95% of electronic communication (Levitt & Mahowald, 2002). In many cases CSCW-platforms are a solution to communication problems in virtual teams, by providing centralized communication and allowing for different forms of interactions and communication not necessarily restricted to text-communication.
