ABSTRACT

The author wanted to tell readers all they needed to know about hiring and interacting with their sex workers on a win/win basis. By 'special relationship' the author mean that between client and sex worker and exchange of money for sex and more occurs. The 'more' can be a common intellectual pursuit, a spiritual practice, shared social activities, and even profound sexual interaction beyond what the agreement calls for. The author will sketch portraits of six workers, past and present, with whom he had sex-plus relationships. In some cases, the 'sex-plus' eventually grew into an abiding nonsexual friendship. Each special relationship with individual workers has been completely different; they themselves have been dissimilar from each other. But with each of them he established a sex-plus relationship. Many sex workers as well as their clients will tell you that a straightforward exchange is good enough for them.
