ABSTRACT

This chapter explains why writing reports is important in general and valuable to student researcher personally, and to help student researcher through the early stages. Student researcher report will have to be written in a certain format, with specific sections, each with its own heading, describing different elements of the experiment. Plagiarism is trying to pass off someone else’s ideas or work as student researcher own. The simplest way to structure the Introduction is to start with the general background, and then narrow it down, leading ultimately into student researcher particular research question and student researcher experiment. Details of the number of participants, manner of sampling, personal details relevant to the experiment. An important point to start with in the case of between-subjects designs, if student researcher haven’t made it already in the Design section, is how participants were allocated to experimental conditions.
