ABSTRACT

Didactic skill training in clinical practice techniques is insufficient to assist first line child protective supervisors in the difficult task of changing a child welfare organization's culture to emphasize the therapeutic aspects of intervention. When such feedback is coupled with targeted individual development plans, evidence from a two year intervention demonstrates that significant behavioral changes do occur and these can be linked to organizational outcomes, doi: 10.1300/J394v04n03_10 [Article copies available for a fee from The Haworth Document Delivery Service: 1 -800-HAWORTH.
