ABSTRACT
Grey literature, such as meetings papers, technical reports, manufacturers’ catalogs, and industry standards, are critical to engineering research. Unfortunately, this literature is often not readily available, not cited properly, and not indexed comprehensively. All of these factors make it difficult to access. This paper discusses the major areas of engineering grey literature and suggests ways that it can be acquired and used.
