ABSTRACT
Pharmaceutical journal publishing has been a mercurial arena. A more recent but strong contributor in clinical pharmacy is the title Pharmacotherapy: The Journal of Human Pharmacology and Drug Therapy. Several newsletters have developed an international reputation for scholarly reviews in clinical pharmacy, news reporting functions. An Interdisciplinary Journal Devoted to Research on Indigenous Drugs focuses on scientific study of the traditional medicines used around the globe both in the past and present. This journal offers its subscribers reviews of recent research and discussion on matters relating to nutrition science. It aims to be a pre-eminent forum for the publication of original research. Its scope is not limited to dietetics but covers topics such as nutrition and diet therapy, nutrition education, and community nutrition. Its process of peer review contributes to its goal of advancing the scientific study of nutrition as it is applied to health in humans and animals.
