ABSTRACT
“… the evaluator can rarely determine exactly which symptoms or difficulties in an adult survivor of abuse are in fact directly related to a given instance of abuse. Furthermore, it will almost never be true that psychological testing “alone” can serve as an absolute litmus test for whether abuse has occurred in a given individual … instead such data should be combined with all other available information to provide hypothesis about what may be abuse affects in someone who has reported abuse.”
