ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter, you were shown how to compute the F ratio for the simplest possible ANOVA: one-factor betweensubjects. However, unlike simpler statistical tests, the meaning of the F ratio, whether significant or non-significant, is not always straightforward. This chapter discusses the further steps necessary in order to understand fully the outcome of a study in relation to the hypotheses under test.
