ABSTRACT
The last position has its special opportunities and hazards. It is akin to being last in a line of ice skaters doing Crack the Whip; the challenge is to tie the chapters together as a whole. For me, the answer to this challenge lies in the construction of some meanings for the consideration of the three themes which seem to emerge from this volume — interdisciplinary, community, and prevention.
