ABSTRACT
The effect of a Clause Paramount 11.15 Where the charter is made on the New York Produce form, it will, unless the form is
amended, include the Clause Paramount in Clause 24. In such a case, the Clause Paramount supplements the owners’ undertaking as to the maintenance of the ship during the charter period, imposing an additional requirement that the owners exercise due diligence to make the ship seaworthy, before and at the beginning of each voyage performed under the charter, whether laden or in ballast.
