ABSTRACT
Since becoming a National Writing Project Fellow in 2006, I have had the opportunity to work on several teacher-initiated and teacher-directed teams that have had a great impact on our school. They have all centered on science, writing, and vocabulary, and all arose based on struggles we noticed in our students.
