ABSTRACT

While you will often wear your ordinary everyday street clothes to auditions, we will talk about ‘dressing for the part’ in later chapters, so think ahead and start to assemble your own audition wardrobe. This may contain items of clothing and accessories that suggest a type, or types, that you are right to play — perhaps things that are plainer, more formal, casual or outlandish than you would normally wear but which make you look different, younger or older than you actually are, or appear to be.
