ABSTRACT
My chapter finds itself unwittingly, if usefully, framed by the last part of this volume on nature and architecture, and I should say something about this. I always worry that discussions about architecture and sustainability prompt too much talking about Nature and not enough about Architecture—because the problem we have is Architecture: Nature is; it exists. Architecture we must make.
