ABSTRACT

Keyword is a descriptive word or phrase about an image. And although Lightroom manages all sorts of metadata, keywords are what matter most to photographers in terms of organization. Person keywords are essentially the same as any other keyword except that Person keywords are applied to images by way of facial recognition technology that is accessed through the new People View. The Keyword Suggestions section recommends keywords one have either used recently or that one frequently use, providing quick access to those keywords. Selecting the Enter Keywords View option allows one to see only keywords that have been explicitly added to an image. The Keyword List Panel is simple to understand in its architecture, but big in its versatility. From the Keyword List Panel one can manage the rules governing our keywords, manage keyword hierarchies, and apply multiple keywords to image selections at a time, create keyword synonyms, and filter through all our keywords used throughout image archive.
