ABSTRACT

This chapter examines about image organizing workflow. After one's images have been imported, organized categorically through keywords, and properly backed up, the next phase of a photographer's workflow is to start editing our images. Image labels come in a few flavors. Flags, Star Ratings, and Colors can all be found in the Toolbar. An image can be picked, rejected, or have neither Flag applied. Not applying anything is a third flagging state and this distinction will come in handy when filtering through images. Star Ratings can be applied by selecting a set of images and then clicking on one of the Stars in the Toolbar. The Survey View icon is found on the left side of the Toolbar in the Library Module, and is a great tool for scrutinizing sets of images that are comparable. Unlike the Survey View, the Compare View is intended for looking at a selection of images against one specific image.
