ABSTRACT
The Tickler System is an application program developed for the purpose of monitoring all the assessment dates for various types of treatment services rendered to the patients residing at the Rockland Psychiatric Center. The system design of the TICKLER was defined on the basis of tasks to maintain very basic goals of monitoring a patient list and assessment schedule date list. This has reduced error in the clinical information system. It provided the administrator with improved efficiency in the management of clinician time. To reduce input keystroke errors, TICKLER is rule based on certain fields such as patients name and consecutive number. The application first requires pertinent information on the Patient Database prior to processing information on Assessment Due Database. For the assessment date database, the application is designed in such a way that it is not necessary to input any other information of a patient except the consecutive number.
