ABSTRACT

Adlerian psychology gained recognition in the United States during the 1930s and 1940s, particularly when Adler and some of his students, in particular, Rudolph Dreikurs, settled in America. Dreikurs (1950) continued to propagate Individual Psychology until his death in 1972. Other leading proponents of Adler's psychology have been Ansbacher and Ansbacher (1956) and Mosak (1973, 1979).
