ABSTRACT
Adler suggested that certain ties bind individuals together and these ties are best expressed in the three problems of life. None of these can be solved separately; but each requires an interrelationship with the other two: the three problems involve a person's relationship to society, which, of course, involves social interest, one's job or occupation, and the relationships in love and marriage. The successful solutions to all of these problems are going to involve social interest.
