ABSTRACT
The foregoing study weakened the hypothesis that an endocrine basis for homosexuality exists. Gay men did not show a female sex hormone profile, at least not in the peripheral blood. Possibly their similarity to women and their cross sex gender identity have been exaggerated, too. The next study examines gender identity and sex partner preferences in homoerotic subjects.
