ABSTRACT

I’Ve been asked to do a chapter in this book on TA and Gestalt. That is not so easy anymore, because I’m not really a Gestalt therapist, nor a TA therapist, nor any specific kind of a therapist. I’m an integrated therapist, and I use everything I know to teach, and to treat. So I’m just going to write about what I do, and how I do it, and let it come out the way I write it. Neither am I going to describe basic TA theory in this article. (Refer to Goulding and Goulding, “The Power is in the Patient”, and “Changing Lives Through Redecision Therapy”, for details of our theory and therapy).
