Keep a daily journal of any sexual avoidance patterns you may have gotten into. For example:

Do you and your partner maintain different schedules so that you never go to bed or wake up at the same time?

Do you tend to fight just as the moment seems to turn toward intimacy?

Do you only make a sexual overture when it's highly unlikely to be accepted? For instance, when the children are around or when one of you is cooking or doing yard work.
