ABSTRACT
Social science researchers have used computers to manipulate quantitative data for many years, but the ability to conduct a survey of the literature or to prepare subject bibliographies is a comparatively recent development. This article introduces some of the resources available and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of computerized searching in psychology.
