ABSTRACT
This energizer is an exercise for the group or family when they become tired or bored with other activities. The exercise requires half the members to identify another member who looks like some family member. It provides a vehicle for making a strong personal contact as the members talk about family look alikes and touch each other by giving the upper back massage. The exercise is especially effective with groups coming together for the first time. It has been used with companies in which people from across a region or district who talked by phone come together for the first time. The trainer prepared for someone who may say that there is no one present who looks like a family member. These people instructed to simply pair up and talk a few moments, then to give the back rub. Also be prepared for a group with an odd number.
