ABSTRACT

What is Women’s Work, I wonder, and what is the challenge to aging women found in their work? Is it to increase the world’s consciousness? Is it to bring men to consciousness or to become like men in the workplace? Is it to work towards a matrilinear, matrifocal society? Is it to nurture others, to be the caretakers, to emphasize the right-brained poet in our souls, to redress the imbalance of the left-brained rational, productive personality so ascendant today?
