ABSTRACT

At one time or another, each of us will need to consult a care provider. If hot flashes become unbearable, if periods become too painful, if moody episodes become too frequent, if bleeding becomes too frequent or too heavy and fatigue sets in, if joint pain becomes unbearable, if vaginal burning and itching interfere with sexual intercourse or cause painful urination, if urinary incontinence becomes more frequent despite exercising, if changes in sexual function create a problem, or if any other “ifs” become too great for you to care for yourself and you feel you need help, then it is time to consult a care provider. To delay doing so could worsen the problem.
