ABSTRACT
I have suggested some questions for future research at various places in the preceding chapters. In this chapter I discuss three areas of research that seem especially important to me: the potential use of the Non-ah speech disturbances to measure psychotherapeutic change, the psychological functions of the individual speech disturbance categories, and the developmental vicissitudes of the speech disturbances.
