ABSTRACT
I asked h im if he was from an Italian family and how he expla ined the apparent unfriendliness represented there? He said that he was from a Jewish family w h o expected the chi ldren to be very loyal and close to them and essentially to avoid outsiders. He said that in his fami ly you didn' t want to ask for help or you wou ld get smothered with help.
