ABSTRACT
In a retrospective review of social work students' evaluations of the quality of their field instruction supervision, it was found that MSW field instructors were nor rated more highly than agency field instructors who did not possess an MSW degree. The sample consisted of 281 MSW students and 129 BSW students. The implications of these findings for social work education are discussed.
