ABSTRACT
SUMMARY. The use of the Circumplex model to evaluate and to track change in an ecosystem is discussed. A case study illustrates the model's utility in describing stages in the treatment of a school-family problem. The model's heuristic value in organizing data, and particularly in visualizing and conceptualizing shifts in the interaction between two subsystems is considered.
