ABSTRACT
It follows from the definition of activity that activity is a system that integrates cognitive behavioral and motivational components. Accordingly, psychologi cal processes are studied in the context of the theory of activity. Knowledge about psychological processes is required for describing mental actions. This chapter provides some new information about mental processes from the perspective of the theory of activity. There are three levels of information processing: sensori-perceptual, imaginative, and verbal-logical.
