The Primary Mental Health Project: School-Based Preventive Intervention for Adjustment Problems

Among PMHP's most distinctive features is the simple fact that the project has survived 39 years. We believe one reason for this longevity is that the project effectively addresses important problems that many schools face. PMHP has been an ever-evolving, rather than a static project, though changes within it have been more evolutionary than revolutionary (Cowen et al., 1975).
