ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the comprehension of phrasal idioms. As is pointed out in several chapters in this book, idiomatic expressions represent a broad range of linguistic phenomena, ranging from lexical idioms, such as rail at, to phrasal idioms such as to kick the bucket.
