ABSTRACT

The relationship between emotion and memory has been of a longstanding interest in psychological theory. Although this relation appears to be a rather complex one, its understanding has no doubt been regarded as being within reach—especially so if the disciplines per se (emotion and memory) could be conceived of as relatively unitary concepts.
