ABSTRACT

Holly honestly believes that some day, when Jack is ready to be open with them, they will disclose his cross-dressing to them. Even though in her head she truly understands the self-preservation instinct that drove his concealment, she still can't help but be awed by how good he was at it. In some ways, they have more honest friendships with people we have never met face to face and only know online than they have with people we have cherished for years. We have lots of fun playing together, and there is no problem with gender issues there. She finds it ironic that the things they disagree about and have minor spats over are not cross-dressing related. The fact that she enjoys the feel of silk and lace on Jack too suggests a capacity to access the arousing synergy that can occur when people are able to allow their sexual identities to be fluid.
