ABSTRACT

Cheryl's story in unique in this collection. She was involved with Jeny (Marge), whose cross-dressing she discovered in an unusually disturbing way. Jenys gender variance was more intense than had originally been admitted and ultimately, it resulted in transition, which came about in a way that was very painful for Cheryl. Amazingly, Cheryl fell in love with another cross-dresser. However, a huge difference existed between her relationships with Jeny and Mark. In the latter instance, there was foreknowledge, honesty, growing friendship, trust, and caring that blossomed into love. Cheryl was even able to acknowledge and celebrate the masculine side that exists within all women. Mark's gender issues seem less intense than Marges. Although she had found great comfort there, in some ways it is remarkable that Cheryl was able to bring herself to return to the Tri-Ess group she and Jeny attended. Cheryl was even able to acknowledge and celebrate the masculine side that exists within all women.
