ABSTRACT
Effective coparent communication is an essential element for preserving a cooperative relationship between former partners, but the parents may not have the luxury of waiting to communicate until they have mastered the skills of communication. First and foremost, parents need to be taught how to set up and maintain a communication system that fits their needs and abilities.
