Time for Chores
Many ADD children have problems doing chores. Many parents I have worked with have told me that getting their children to do chores is a troublesome task. Their children forget, procrastinate, promise, forget again, become upset, do inadequate work, grumble, talk back, and in general make the parent feel miserable as they lock horns on this issue. As a parent, I know how easy it is to feel it is not worth the effort to go through the struggle of getting your children to do chores. Sometimes it just seems like less work and hassle to do the chores ourselves.
